Skydiving for Heroes - Battling PTSD one Jump at a Time

Skydiving for Heroes - Battling PTSD one Jump at a Time

From Jeff Parkerson

As a licensed skydiver, marine veteran, and former law enforcement, I've seen that skydiving can help those dealing with PTSD and substance abuse. We want to help our heroes, one jump at a time.

Update #1

When I was a young Marine and I first started skydiving, I met many skydivers that said they had been alcoholics or drug addicts when they first started jumping, but after jumping, they never needed it again.

I created the Great American Sport Parachute Club to be for our veterans and first responders to help battle PTSD and addictions, one jump at a time. Not only will we be a skydiving group, but we'll also be a support group for each other.
