I recently went through a very difficult time (financially) in my life. God brought me through it as He ALWAYS does, and I am happy to say that I am no longer in that dark place.
During this time, I wasn't able to buy the things we needed, things that were essential to our household, like laundry detergent, toilet paper, trash bags and shampoo. These things were impossible to purchase. Every penny I earned working was already earmarked for groceries or for a bill that was at least a month overdue. It was a scary time for me.
God planted a seed soon after that told me if I was struggling to buy these items for my family, then other people were too. I knew He wanted me to do something, but I didn't know what.
I prayed for a long time that day and ended up telling God I couldn't do anything... I had no resources. I had no contacts, no donors and most importantly, I had no idea how to start a non-profit or raise money for its needs.
I'm so glad he ignored my excuses and answered my prayer in three simple words- Do it anyway.
I started this non-profit for the one I love above all. The one who has never left my side. He stands with me on the hill and carries me through the valley.
Giving to this ministry puts these much-needed home essentials directly into the hands of our friends and neighbors who are struggling.
