For years now, I have been intrigued by the idea of learning the perspectives of others through travel. I have been learning Spanish for the past year, and am ecstatic to learn more while staying with a family in Peru for a couple weeks. Machu Picchu has always been on my list of places I must visit (along with the Egyptian pyramids!!) and I am so excited to see the ruins of such a historical place. The funds raised will be used for plane tickets, bus rides, a local host family, and two weeks of language school (four hours/day), plus other opportunities and adventures in Cusco, Peru.
