L A few months ago, as a dedicated bookseller, I was living my passion, surrounded by the world of literature. My scooter was my faithful companion, helping me navigate the city streets to reach bookshops and connect with fellow book lovers. Then, on that fateful night of 8/29, everything changed.

I woke up to an empty parking spot where my scooter once stood. It had been stolen, leaving me shocked and devastated. I contacted my insurance, hoping for a glimmer of hope, but to my dismay, they informed me that the theft wasn’t covered. As someone on the lower end of the income scale, this loss hit me hard.

My scooter wasn’t just a mode of transportation; it was my lifeline to my livelihood. Without it, I struggled to make ends meet, unable to reach bookstores efficiently and connect with my customers. The joy of sharing the world of books started slipping away.

That’s why I’ve initiated this campaign. I’m trying to raise $1500 to replace my stolen scooter and get back on track in the book industry.
