In 2022, our family faced a profound challenge when our beloved daughter was diagnosed with bipolar depression accompanied by psychosis episodes one month after graduating from High School. At this time, she had received total funding from Texas State University and a partial track scholarship with a desire to study Animal Science as a precursor to becoming a holistic Veterinarian. This diagnosis led to seven difficult institutionalizations, each a testament to the complex nature of her condition. While medication has provided some relief, it has also taken its toll, affecting her immune system, altering her personality, and impeding her daily functioning. Faced with these realities, we have made a collective decision to explore alternative, holistic approaches, aiming to restore her physical and cognitive well-being.
The Journey to Wholeness: Our quest for holistic healing is not just about treating symptoms but about nurturing our daughter's entire being. We seek to address the root causes of her struggles and foster a comprehensive transformation. To embark on this journey, we are seeking your support to raise $130,000.
$80,000 will be dedicated to sending her to a natural inpatient holistic treatment facility, where she can receive the specialized care she deserves. This investment will provide her with a nurturing environment conducive to her healing journey, offering therapies tailored to her unique needs.
Additionally, $15,000 will cover flights, accommodation, and transportation expenses, allowing us to visit the facility, participate in her treatment plan, and provide her with the love and support she needs during her two-month stay.
Lastly, $30,000 will enable me to take a leave of absence from my work, allowing me to concentrate on supporting our daughter at 100% capacity. This sacrifice is a small price to pay for the opportunity to give our daughter the most incredible gift imaginable: independence and functionality in a world where her mind is clear and healthy.
