We are proud to announce that Elijah Malik Winn has been accepted into two highly competitive private high schools: St. Joseph Regional High School and Bergen Catholic High School.

This is not the journey we anticipated, but fate put Elijah on a different path. This past Fall he played football and really excelled. After learning about his original desire to attend a public school, coaches insisted that Elijah was much too athletic. They said Elijah’s athleticism could garner him scholarships for college and that we should explore private high schools.

Well, Elijah was committed to heeding his coaches’ advice. So, we hired a tutor and scheduled the entrance exam; Elijah wrote his essay and submitted his recommendation letters.

Congratulations to our boy. He did it!!!!

This is a huge accomplishment. Elijah has chosen to attend Bergen Catholic, the #1 Best All-Boys Catholic High School in Bergen County and #3 Best Private School in New Jersey.

Over the past 2 months Bergen Catholic's wrestling coach and baseball coach have been working with Elijah preparing him for this exciting transition. Elijah really wants to go. We want to make this happen for him. This is an amazing opportunity.

We are applying to other scholarships/grants, but we still need your help. Your contribution would make a meaningful impact on Elijah’s future and academic journey.

We genuinely value the importance of education, and your support in this matter would mean the world to us. We are grateful for the strong bonds we share with our family and friends, and we believe that together, we can help foster a brighter future for Elijah.
